The region of Bergerac, often called "Gateway to the Perigord", offers a superb choice of attractions or places of interest, many of which are distinctive of this typical part of the South West.

Le Coutureau is a charming traditional French stone villa which accommodates up to 10 people plus a baby, a private swimming pool and superb facilities to ensure your holiday is perfect. Set in half an acre of grounds and vineyards the villa is surrounded by beautiful rural scenery and the undulating hills of the Dordogne. Situated close to the bastide town of Eymet with shops, restaurants and markets, and only 10 minutes drive from the historic town Bergerac and the airport.

Tastefully restored and refurbished, Le Coutureau is the perfect setting for a peaceful, relaxing holiday – a place to unwind from the stresses of everyday life - many of the original features of the buildings have been retained, including exposed stone walls, old wooden beams, pan tiled floors and a large open fireplace, whilst ensuring it is well equipped and contains modern amenities.

An English-speaking couple who live close by maintain the villa, pool and grounds all year round. They are always very happy to make suggestions and recommendations about where to go and what to see locally and can also offer home cooked meals, jams, pies, and chutneys on request.
